THE RE-PACK PROJECT-

At the end of each school year thousands of pounds of school supplies are thrown away as kids clean out their lockers and desks. These supplies would be cherished by kids in need throughout the world.

The Re-Pack Project, a project by kids for kids, collects these gently used school supplies, cleans them up, and distributes them to kids in need.

How It Started:

The Re-pack project began in 2013 when founders Nathan and Seamus visited a school in Africa and saw how little they had in the way of educational supplies. When they returned to their own school they realized how much was taken for granted and, at the end of the school year, how much was thrown away. They asked their principal if they could do a drive for school supplies. They collected almost 10,000 items that year and delivered more than 50 backpacks filled with supplies to a school in Africa. The following year they expanded their efforts to three schools and delivered supplies to kids in Peru. To date, more than 100,000 items have been collected and delivered to more than 500 kids in need across four continents.  Every year the project continues to grow and expand with all thanks to our support from local and regional schools and communities!
